Lucknow: On November 29, 2024, an FIR (No. 1175/24) was registered at Police Station Wagle Estate, Thane City, Maharashtra, under sections 319(2), 318(4) BNS, 66C, and 66D of the IT Act, following a cyber fraud incident. The complainant reported being coerced over the phone by a person impersonating a Crime Branch officer to transfer ₹5,65,000.
The case was assigned to PSI Shivaji Parbatrogavare, who initiated a thorough investigation utilizing surveillance and evidence collection. Collaboration with the local police in Jankipuram, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, led to the arrest of two suspects on December 14, 2024, near Mama Tiraha:
- Sandeep Yadav (son of Kamlesh Singh Yadav), resident of Khutehna, Hardoi, Uttar Pradesh.
- Rauchak Srivastava (son of Ajay Kumar Srivastava), resident of 74B, Chhathamil, Bakshi Ka Talab, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.
Professions of the Accused:
Both were allegedly involved in share marketing.

- ₹5,65,000 in cash.
